Animal Control

Animal Control Officer 

The Animal Control Officer is in charge of enforcing state laws and local ordinances. The Animal Control Officer is nominated by the Town Manager and confirmed by the Board of Selectpersons. The Town Manager appointed Jeff Worthing to serve as Animal Control Officer. The Town contracts with the Kennebec County Humane Society, 168 Leighton Road in Augusta, for sheltering stray animals that are picked up in our community.  Telephone # 441-9364.
